OUR MISSION

Development and promotion of child health care through the development of
diagnostic, therapeutic and research activities. We are on our mission
dedicated with great enthusiasm.

OUR GOAL

Our goal is to fulfill at least part of our planned plans
for future development. We are already on that path and we have results in
background. We are very aware of the current circumstances in our country and about
this we share the same fate. However, we do not fully accept this.
Of course, there are opportunities for adequate support, cooperation and development.

HISTORY

By decision of the Council for Public Health of the People's Republic of
Macedonia in February 1952, a special children's hospital was established for
lung diseases, as a sanatorium for pediatric tuberculosis. This hospital
began its work on June 2, 1952 organized in the old buildings of
adapted from the previous maternity home.
After the earthquake in 1963, with the help of governments and humanitarian organizations
Norway and Sweden, as a gift to Skopje, on the slopes of Mount Vodno
built a new modern hospital of the prefabricated ward type with 5,000m2
covered area, consisting of 4 basic construction units (wooden construction), of
all functionally connected in a complex and with a capacity of 200
beds.
The new hospital started operating on December 25, 1965. The first director of this institution
and its founder was Prim. Dr. Klimentije Milosevic.
